REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
All UVUE dash cameras supplied for the Australian market are designed to meet applicable Australian electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements and are supplied in accordance with the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) framework.

DATA STORAGE AND ACCESS
Video, audio and GPS data are stored locally on the device SD card unless otherwise specified. UVUE and its distributors do not access, store or monitor vehicle footage or location data.

Footage can only be accessed locally via direct connection to the device unless otherwise specified for a particular model. No remote cloud surveillance or live monitoring is provided by UVUE or its distributors.

APPLICATION AND FIRMWARE
Mobile applications and device firmware are provided and maintained by the device manufacturer. Firmware and security updates are supported for a minimum of three years from date of manufacture, subject to manufacturer support and hardware capability.

USER AND INSTALLER SECURITY
Professional installation and initial configuration must be completed at time of installation. Users are required to create a unique password upon first connection and maintain secure access credentials thereafter.

PRIVACY AND RECORDING NOTICE
These devices are recording tools only. Operation and use of in-vehicle video or audio recording must comply with applicable privacy and surveillance laws. The vehicle owner or operator is solely responsible for ensuring lawful use.

FLEET AND COMMERCIAL USE
Where installed in commercial, fleet or rideshare vehicles, the vehicle owner or operator is responsible for notifying drivers and passengers of recording functions and obtaining any required consents.

AUDIO RECORDING
Audio recording functionality should only be enabled where permitted by local laws and with appropriate consent from vehicle occupants.
